President Javier Milei, accompanied by his sister Karina Milei and a small group of supporters, expressed during an event in southern Buenos Aires, "If you want to see a great Argentina again, vote for Manuel Adorni." In the context of an intense electoral campaign preceding the legislative elections in the City of Buenos Aires, Milei publicly endorsed Adorni, a candidate from La Libertad Avanza (LLA).
On his part, Mauricio Macri, former president of Argentina, joined the campaign of Silvia Lospennato, candidate for PRO, recording a campaign spot that has been broadcast in various neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Lospennato thanked Macri for his support, highlighting that in PRO they provide opportunities for second and third generations of yellows, referring to the party's distinctive color.
Milei appeared in Villa Lugano alongside Adorni, at an event where links with another candidate were cleared. Amid a backdrop of drums, banners, and violet flags, chants directed at a political competitor were heard. At the same time, Macri, Lospennato, and Jorge Macri made their joint appearance in the campaign spot, highlighting proposals related to education, health, security, and investment in public works.
This electoral scenario in the City of Buenos Aires evidenced the marked presence of the main representatives of two competitive political spaces, in a showdown that also involves Peronism with Leandro Santoro as a prominent figure in the contest.
